Marian is passionate about helping leaders to develop the mindset and skills to be effective in progressing increasingly complex challenges. She believes that leadership is learned and requires awareness and capability at multiple levels of system – personal, interpersonal, group, intergroup, organisational and broader system. She loves working with executives to help them to develop multiple perspectives, thus becoming empowered through greater insight and choice.
For twenty years, Marian has consulted to senior executives to support them to develop their leadership potential. She has designed and run longitudinal, experiential, leadership development programs and learning interventions, facilitated peer coaching, and coached individual executives. She has mainly worked in the corporate sector. She has excellent skills in coaching for complexity and in holding individual and groups through significant learning.
Marian has a Masters of Business in Organisational Behaviour, a Graduate Diploma in Organisation Change and Behaviour and a Masters of Counselling. She also has training in organisation and group dynamics and various therapeutic approaches. She is accredited in a range of 360 tools, including the Leadership Circle Profile, psychometric tools, including Hogan and culture tools. She is a graduate of the Art of Practice of Leadership Development at the Kennedy School of Government, Harvard University.
Marian is from Ireland but Melbourne is home. She loves nature and the arts and pursues both passions on the Mornington Peninsula near Melbourne where she spends many weekends.
